Shifty and Jermaine are recording in the studio. Now the pair have made a track together called “TAKE YOU HOME “ 2008!!!
Shifty is a 19-year-old artist from South Manchester. Shifty made his name on the Manchester underground through youth clubs, radio, and his debut mix tape (Get Ya Hussle On Vol.1) before getting his first big break on Urban Superstars 2006 where he got to the final. While all this was happening for shifty, he was still kept level headed and keeping his feet firmly on the ground, shifty was vastly becoming what some call a “PROBLEM” in a musical way, The way he delivered and expressed himself in and around a microphone was 1 of a kind… Shifty was everywhere you could imagine, his goal was 2 become the most seen/spoke about Mc in Manchester at such a young age, before joining his current crew Mayhem Crew… Shifty was with Fearless Crew a family and friends collective which never really clicked fully as a whole, but he still managed 2 rise above anything what stood in his way and that’s what got him noticed above everyone else. Shortly after, All the street work stuff he was doing he entered a competion with fellow Mayhem members Slayer and Blizzard, the prize was to have a song featured on a EA Sports game which they won and since then have gone from strength to strength… in the last few months he has released “ Get Ya Hussle On” Vol.2 Promo and the video to..”Were Big Like”. Which won the EA competition and went number one on Channel U in its first week…. He is also currently working on a hell of a lot of material 2 flood the street’s with… Many have described him as a workaholic or a musical legend is his local area, now he’s trying to show the masses he has what it takes 2 break through an educate the scene…. he’s in, believe when we tell you this… this young man is not no gimmick or no joke… about everything you see or hear from him is what he feels/goes through or feels need 2 be publicised… Right now Shifty’s fan base is growing at a alarming rate and he has the UK top dogs looking over their shoulders so keep a keen eye open for the hard working young star, everyone else is….

Jermaine on shifty and how they met:
I met shifty early this year at a show we both was doing @ the Zion Centre in Hulme. I remember us both talking to each other about doing a track in the future together. So later that year … me and my producer The white n3rd was in the studio talking about the possibilities of me and shifty making a good track together and after Kano + Craig David’S smash hit “This is Girl” its kind of opened up the door for us a good look so we thought why not!!! We made the beat for us both to use … we had to strike just the right balance between a singer and mc/rapper. I got in touch with shifty and sent him the track with me singing the chorus line then shifty could write his bars to the verses… I also sent a track called “take you home”. Then a week later he got back to me saying he and his management really liked the tracks and “take you home” was the one we decided to use. …Last week we was working in the studio and it just came easy to us the vibe in there was right on point and we had the 2 songs recorded in a day and half now its in the process of being mixed down and will be put out there released in 2008… date TBC. Now we will be writing more tracks over the coming months together for possible future projects … exciting times no doubt its looking to be a productive year ahead watch out for the track “TAKE YOU HOME” in 2008 ……… Jermaine
